This guy over at DKE made a PVI calculator function in excel. For those like me who are always drawing next districts in DRA, this may be useful!

Isn't PVI simply a difference-in-difference? Come on, you surely don't need a special calculator for that.

Really? I wouldn't do that. It artificially increases the partisan lead when 3rd parties do well.

Yeah, so I always had to do an extra formula or two for that in excel. This makes it easier.

If only DRA had 2012 presidential results by precinct, then we could apply this directly to DRA maps.
