Of course in the Fox News universe, Jesus isn't just white in the technical sense like Jews and Eye-talians and whatnot. Jesus has to be brawny, flaxen-haired, Anglo-Saxon 'Murican Jesus whose eyes are like cold, blue pools of water staring down the nonbelievers and whose improbably chiseled Nordic cheekbones make Mary Magdalene lose her damn mind.

Well, to be technical, he was a Greek in Asia Minor and Greeks generally run the gamut from your typical white guy to your typical brown guy. For example, I had a Greek friend, who came from Greece as a baby, that was pretty brown but had blue eyes. Santa Claus might have looked like that.

Gotta be careful.  We have a few Europeans, so we have to be sensitive.  They don't consider Jews to be "white."  I've had this argument with a bunch of 'em, especially Russians.  Somehow, it's a different classification system over there.  In their system, Jesus wouldn't really be "white."  Here, he would be, but of course he'd be of that very suspect white stock that gets stopped at airports.  The kind with a large nose, curly dark hair, and olive skin.  Basically, he's Osama bin Laden.  White, but the sort of whitefolk that we don't trust.  At least in Russia and Germany and France they're honest about their prejudice.

When it comes to Mall Santa, I am deeply suspicious and I have one bit of advice for my child:  stay away from him.  He's not the Real Santa Claus.  The Real Santa Claus is smart.  He doesn't hang around shopping malls.  You'll never see him.  You don't need to tell him what you want for Christmas because he already knows.  He'll show up at night, while you're asleep, leave presents (or a big turd on your pillow if you have been a jerk), and he'll steal away quietly, back to the North Pole.  Any old guy in the mall--and I don't care if he's white, black, chinese, or purple--but any old man that wants you to sit on his lap is bad news.  Get away from him.  Say loudly, in your Important Voice, "I don't know you.  Leave me alone." and go tell a grown up.

Makes sense.  I actually thought of DC and Detroit when I first saw the video, and was a little surprised that Megyn Kelly wanted to go there since it's so silly.  She was schooled by O'Reilly and he has had this "war on Christmas" bug up his ass for some time, and maybe that's just in her training.  It's unfortunate for her because she's coming off as a bimbo. 

I wasn't kidding about keeping my son away from all the Santa Claus imposters.  And of course no one has ever seen the real Santa Claus and no one ever will, except maybe those Polar Express children.
