I'm proud of you, awkward conservative-True Leftist alliance.

Wait, are you calling the conservatives awkward or the alliance awkward?

One of the luckiest presidents in American history. Had his tenure not coincided with eight years of relative international stability, economic prosperity, and insanity from the opposition party, people may have noticed that he wasn't especially competent.

This.

Clinton's 3rd way politics have been a disaster for the country.

Lean FF, for the reasons ably given by Scott and DeadFlagBlues' response to Sibboleth.

This is true, but... who has been a competent president lately?  I can't help but grade on a curve here.

True, none of the recent Presidents have been been especially competent. We have no Lincoln or FDR today.

FF. I acknowledge that he had fairly moderate policies, but he was miles ahead of his predecessor and successor.

FF, but I'll admit there is a disconnect between what he actual accomplished as President and his legacy. Personally, I love listening to his speeches and I thought his DNC speech last year was one of the best I've ever heard. Fwiw, I think he would have accomplished a lot more if he had control of both Houses of Congress throughout his Presidency.

Bill Clinton is one of the worst men to ever occupy the president's chair. NAFTA had more or less decimated American industry and Mexican agriculture. He bombed nations without provocation and invaded Haiti for no reason. Furthermore, he was terrible for civil and constitutional liberties.

A lot of flaws, but Presided over possibly the greatest economy in history. He also helped bring the democratic party out of the wilderness.

This sums it up nicely.
