Got me thinking about other things:

-Hunters
-Gun owners
-Evangelicals
-Mormons (and "besides SLC")
-Emergent church Christians
-Native Americans
-Indians
-People who have been to an emoviolence show
-People who play Ingress
-Vegetarians
-Vegans
-German-Americans
-Norwegian-Americans
-Swedish-Americans
-Dutch-Americans
-Arab-Americans
-"Americans" on the Census.

And the answer is probably a university town with a large student population in a small area.

In that regard it's actually probably some place like Provo - Less than half of SLC proper's population is Mormon today.

Probably the only two that it would be it for are Norwegians and Swedish Americans.

Yeah seems like it would be better to ask outside of utah, in which case its probably Boise or mesa.

Having wide variations in population density makes this somewhat complicated.  Detroit metro has the highest percentage of Arab-Americans, but NYC would have a higher density.

Dearborn is close to 40% so it probably has the highest density.

Vegetarians, vegans, and (Asian) Indians have got to be NYC.

I tested out Native Americans with NYC and some southwestern cities--NYC wins with Albuquerque second.

I think I have found a winner for (Asian) Indians: Cupertino, Santa Clara County, CA: 21.4% Indian, 5,179.6 ppl per sq mi.

Depends on the size of the area.  Parts of western Nassau County have denser areas with high Asian Indian populations, but they are villages/ hamlets very small in size

New Hyde Park, NY  16.7% Asian Indian , 11,281.8 ppl per sq mi, population 9,712

Bellerose Terace, NY 11.7% Asian Indian , 22,212 per sq mi, but population only 2,198

Herricks, NY 23.2% Asian Indian- 7,158 ppl per sq mi,  population 4,295

Well, the subject line says city, and probably places less than 1 sq mi shouldn't count because it's easier to have extremes in small areas.

For Dutch Americans, if you Google it, the first city that comes up is Holland, Michigan (go figure). I'd imagine Orange City, Iowa is somewhere up high on the list as well. Per Wikipedia, most are found in the areas around Grand Rapids, Mich., Rock Rapids, Iowa, Sioux City, Iowa, Des Moines, Iowa, Fulton, Ill., and Celeryville, Ohio.

My home county (Bollinger) in Missouri has the highest percentage of Dutch Americans in the state, per the 2000 U.S. Census. I'd say most of them here live in the predominantly Catholic community of Leopold where last names such as Nenninger, Vandeven, VanderMierden, Jansen, Stoverink, Eftink, Thiele, etc. are common.

The section of Sunnyvale  that borders Cupertino has even more Indians per square mile (most likely. Tongue)

Yeah seems like it would be better to ask outside of utah, in which case its probably Boise or mesa.

SLC would probably still win based on shear population density.

Edit: Provo is actually denser than SLC.

I checked the counties in UT, ID, and NYC and the top 5 are:

Salt Lake, UT
Davis, UT
Weber, UT
Utah, UT
Manhattan, NY

Ada (Boise) was not that high up, since Ada is only 15% Mormon.
