I really am trying to hope that is not what he meant, but I am starting to feel the same. I don't have anything against jokes, but personal attacks go way too far.

All you are saying is that there are marriages just made to make a statement, and that is done within the same race too.

If I had a daughter I wouldn't allow it but at the same time I don't want the Government interfering in people's personal matters.

I feel sorry for your daughter, not being allowed to marry who she chooses.

And tell me....how would you "not allow" your adult daughter to marry the person of her choosing? It's not like you'd have any legal authority over her.

Agreed.
