The bit awhile ago where that dumb cop accidentally killed the other cop was pretty intense. Seems like this part might be heating up, but the last ep was kind of boring procedural stuff, basically that captain getting ripped on for establishing that free zone so drug dealing wouldn't happen in other areas.

I understand that you've been busy lately but I don't think I've ever heard of someone taking this much time to watch Season 3. I plowed right through that season.

Oh man Stringer Bell. That was definitely something you wouldn't expect or see coming.

He was a pretty terrible person on balance though, so I can't say I'm upset or anything.

And so ends Season 3. Not much changed. I guess that was the point. Avon Barksdale is done, but it's obvious Marlo will just replace him. The free zone experiment is done. And despite the loss of Stringer Bell, it's clear things won't change in Baltimore much. But I'm happy for the appearance of Caricetti who will obviously play a bigger role in future seasons. He might be the best written character so far.

I got distracted after seeing just the season 4 premier. Thanks for the reminder I should start again.

I should point out that it's not an accident I tend to go through TV shows fastest and the most through the winter months (see avatar)...
