This one would be kind of interesting in some areas since one of the candidates is both black and a lesbian...opebo would actually be landsliding in Appalachia.

My favorites in the first season are definitely Jimmy McNulty and D'Angelo Barksdale. Did you finish season 1?

Yeah, he's not exactly a great person but he's a very interesting and complex character. Keep watching. Wee-bey Brice is also pretty amazing in the first season as are Stringer Bell and Omar Little (but those two shine even more in later seasons).

Kima Greggs is a black lesbian but isn't she also a law enforcement officer? Against opebo I think those factors might actually end up being close to a wash.
