Not quite, but our DC (if he is indeed in New Zealand) is a little over 8 hours (05:00 CST) from ringing 2014.  Kiritimati, Kiribati will enter first at 04:00 CST, a little over 7 hours from now.

The question is, what are you doing to ring in 2014?

For me, my girlfriend and I are going to Tulsa, Oklahoma to a New Year's Eve party.

I have no plans yet. I pulled out of the NYE Grand Ball with a big group of friends because it was $400 and I don't have a date to take this year, so I will probably go to some friends house and drink with them. I have no idea. I am laying low this new years, so I hope that means this year will be much less stressful than 2013.

Japan and Korea has now entered 2014.  Beijing and all of China (IIRC) will follow at the top of the hour.  5 1/2 for my friends and sponsor family in Kenya, 13 1/2 hours for Times Square and 14 1/2 hours for Oklahoma.
