Democrat in every race, except for Maine. I cannot support Shenna Bellows because the two issues I disagree with my fellow Progressives on are her top two issues, and Susan Collins is pretty awesome for a Republican anyway. In Hawaii, I'm pulling for Brian Schatz.

What are the two issues, if you have to ask?
Drugs and NSA probably???

Maybe, but either way, saying she only focuses on the drugs and the NSA just isn't true. You can follow her campaign for five minutes and you'll realize her main issue is economic populism. She's much closer to Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders than anyone else in the Senate, and I see a vote for Susan Collins as a vote for what is (mostly) failed Dubya-era policies (especially in foreign policy).

Dude, I will support her, don't worry, she's much more a Sawx democrat than a Sjoyce democrat, so that's a big improvement compared with the fake moderate.

But I still believe she's a HP. Praising Ron Paul? Ugh.

I know. That was more addressed to him than you.
It's a race I have been really split on until now, but I also think Collins is useful as a moderate liason to the Repubs.

Updated for who is out and who I still support. It's not looking good for the Conservative/Libertarian wing of the GOP

You know Miller winning the primary virtually guarantee Begich winning, right?

I don't support R for the sake of beating Dems. If Miller is the nominee and that guarentees Begich the win, so be it. What's the point of winning with establishment liberal warmonger republicans?

THANK YOU. There is absolutely no point of having a Republican-majority senate if all of those Republicans are Lindsey Grahams.

Democrats: I'm sure that you would be upset too if your party's leadership were promoting LieberDems in Safe-Democrat races.

Yeah but this is a toss-up race where the GOP has a real shot at winning, and they're desperate for a senate majority. It's better for the whole party with Lindsey Grahams running in toss-up seats rather than Todd Akins running in toss-up seats.

Examples of this would be Senators Ron Johnson and Marco Rubio (to a lesser extent) and Governors Susana Martinez, Scott Walker, and Pat McCrory, all of whom are so-called "Tea Party" conservatives who won in swing or blue states. They differ from candidates like Akin, O'Donnell, and Angle who had conservative views, but were in no way able to advocate for them or coherently express them. The same holds true for establishment Republicans like Tim Kaine, Tommy Thompson, and Rob McKenna, each of whom lost winnable races due to their being bad candidates, not because of their views.

Pat McCrory being a Tea Partier is unexpected but not so much as finding out Tim Kaine is an establishment Republican.

Perdue is establishment. Does the S mean skeptical? Shannon is most likely a neo-con as well. Ernst? Hmm

The S is presumably "special".

Anyway, the people I'd most enthusiastically endorse would be Bellows in Maine, because I think Collins is annoying; Schatz in Hawaii and Udall/Begich for re-election in Colorado/Alaska

Updated given primaries.  I changed my mind on a couple, including Arkansas(I just don't like Pryor very much & he's basically just lying about his opponent), Montana(plagiarism scandal), and Colorado(dislike Udall's use of the abortion issue).

IA - Bruce Braley
IL -  Dick Durbin

I'm a little surprised, SPC, by the Thom Tillis endorsement.  The libertarian, Sean Haugh, seems to be running pretty strong.  Is there a reason you don't support him?

Right now I see a Republican Senate as the lesser evil. So long as McConnell is acting as an impediment to the President and Treadwell/Gardner/Ernst/Land/Tillis merely act as backbenchers, it is hard not to prefer them. Of course, Haugh would be much preferable to Tillis if there were a runoff or if one candidate was obviously going to win.
