Buckley (in the prime of his life and peak physical condition) won the Republican Presidential nomination today, and faced Democratic candidate Noam Chomsky (also in the prime of his life and peak physical condition) in a general election?

What would be the map, electoral vote, and popular vote totals?

Oh I know, this is just for the sake of speculation. Chomsky decides to spearhead an effort to salvage the Democrat Party, and somehow wins the nomination.
