Wow, I totally forgot to make a thread. But, since it just became the 28th, I'm not too bugged about it. Regardless, December 27th marked 3 years since I joined this site! I've certainly met some wonderful characters on here (Sawx, Matt, Bacon King, Scott, Winston Disraeli, Snowstalker, Chairmansanchez, Mechaman, Pingvin, TDAS, Cathcon, Tmth, Kalwejt, Goldwater, Sjoyce, Maxwell, Miles, Svensson and many others, to name a few) and I've certainly grown quite a bit since joining.

So yes, my friends, after 3 years of ups and downs, I'd like to thank each and every one of you (except Phil, congrats) for the positive impacts you've made on my life! Assuming Nym does follow through and grant me the six month ban I asked for, I may not be around again until late 2014. But whenever I do return, I hope you'll all be willing to catch me up on everything I missed.

A ban will only prevent you from posting -it won't prevent you from lurking.  So either way, you will still be glued to this site. 

Allow me to rephrase: I spend too much time and don't have the self-restraint to stay away primarily because I'm so enthralled by inserting my two sense into every discussion on this site that I find remotely interesting

Plus if I can't post, I'll be encouraged to do other things

If you did change your mind, I foresee a bunch of "Free Jake" banners and solidarity avatar changes if Nym didn't unban you.  If he did unban you, what's the point of the ban?

That'd be cool. But what would the avatar be? Just pick whatever you want and have #FreeR2 in the sig?
