What should be done about Inks?

Things are getting quite ridiculous, but but the fact that a great majority of the threads deleted and death points given out by Inks are to posts referring to how Inks is a power hungry mod who deletes too many threads and gives out too many death points is kind of hilarious. Still, a de-modding, even if it's a temporary one, needs to be considered.

He should certainly be demodded immediately. I wouldn't support him being banned (but I don't really support anyone being banned - I guess that's the whole point).

I have completely lost interest in this sub forum since The Update was closed. I don't even care about the mods anymore - that is how disenchanted with everything I am.

He shouldn't be banned. I have no qualms with his contributions outside modding.

However, I do believe he abuses his power, gives out death points unnecessarily, and acts unilaterally when it comes to deleting posts and threads. And for that, I don't think he's fit to mod the forum. I'd rather have someone who mods like Al or Badger take over.

I find it hilarious that a significant contingent of the forum was constantly attacking me and others over the last few months for complaining about Inks' moderation style. Now suddenly he applies the same (awful) rules to the threads you people like that he did to the threads we liked and you start complaining yourselves. Hypocrites.

I don't know if I'd phrase it quite like that, but Lief has the essence of it.  Disagreeing with past deletion sprees brought on a torrent of quasi-support for Inks and private and public reprimands against those complaining = "Complaineyboys", etc.....but now.....well.

It was a bizarre personal attack - bordering on personal vendetta.  Could be a sign of mental illness: I suggest we keep a close eye on him.
