My picks:

-The Real World
-Duck Dynasty
-South Park
-The Hills
-Jersey Shore

No real order except The Real World at #1. It has probably done more damage to TV and maybe even popular media in general than anything else in history. It's basically the reason why about half of what's on TV today is "reality" garbage.

Kids these days.....

Have we forgotten Cop Rock?  Some of the "lesser" and forgotten shows from the 70s and 80s were AMAZINGLY bad.  Galactica 1980 is a great example.  Supertrain is another.  Reality shows generaly suck major ass, especially the more scripted ones (like all 4 mentioned by the OP), but the people making those shows (the producers not the cast) know they are garbage.  The worst are the ones where everybody involved is clearly trying to make good TV and they still end up with a train wreck.

#3 could be any number of things.  But what made Galactica 1980 along with Airwolf so bad, in addition to all the corny acting, of course, was that you tuned in every week to watch the exact same spaceships getting destroyed by the exact same hits featuring the exact same explosions.  Before full-blown CGI, when you had models, apparently you had to economize if you were a tv series.

I watched the full episode of that one time and found it hilarious, actually.

- The Chevy Chase Show
- Quincy

The rest, not sure.

And for anyone who doesn't remember how bad Quincy was:

Worst Shows I have Seen since 2000:

Teen Mom
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy
The Caveman show that ABC maid off Geico. (I Legit watched it and never felt so crappy after watching something)
That 80's Show
Sh** My Dad Says (Shatner was funny for an episode or two, but it got old fast. He was just a jerkoff the rest of the show)

Never seen any of the old stuff, Cop Rock was hilariously bad. Always wanted to see that Turn-On show that got pulled and taken off the air during the middle of it's pilot. Heard it was terrible and extremely vulgar.

Heil Honey I'm Home was just a crappy attempt at trying to gain controversy for ratings.

Oh Dear God. I just looked up Sandra Lee again after just posting about her and she's dating Andrew Cuomo, the NY Governor. That means if they do end up getting engaged/married, Sandra Lee will become the First Lady of New York. o____O    God Save Us.

I think I might just have to change my endorsement to the Green candidate over this for 2014 to. Although Cuomo really isn't that much of a liberal at all, how the hell can he date some antisemitic, racist drunkie from down South?

A lot of you are just rehashing the obvious. Heil Honey I'm Home!, the Koi Koi Seven anime (there are other anime worse than Koi Koi Seven but most of them are direct-to-video), the Bill and Ted television show, the official Ferris Bueller television show (as opposed to Parker Lewis Can't Lose), and The Swan are all as bad as or worse than anything that anybody's listed so far (except Heil Honey I'm Home!, which King did list). The Swan in particular is morally as well as aesthetically bankrupt almost to the point of unbelievability.

I think Adam might be confusing Sandra Lee (who grew up in Washington and Wisconsin, hardly 'down South') with Paula Deen. Sandra Lee's worst sin is that her recipes are explicitly for people who don't have the time or energy for proper cooking. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, although it is annoying to those of us who are food snobs.

I don't think you guys understand that Heil Honey, I'm Home! was a hilarious deconstruction of bland 1950's-60's sitcoms.

Unfortunately, she's done much worse with her food than make it inedible. :/

Example A:

Example B:

And the YT comments are just brutal on her for pages and pages about these cakes. She really played with fire when she made cakes "honoring" those two holidays with store bought frosting and "acorns" as she calls them lol.

Dear God what are those things. Okay at the very least 'insensitive' applies; whether it's beyond the point of the bad taste that she's already long since been established to have is the only remaining question.

What I'm wondering is if we can refer to her as the 'Semi-First Lady' of New York.

Actually if you want to talk about morally reprehensible reality shows, I remember this one now which was utterly skewered by the AV Club for its premise: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Does_Someone_Have_to_Go%3F

It was an attempt at that. It didn't succeed.

I didn't even see that on there. The list was pretty agreeable, but now it's total garbage.
