Jake, not for nothing, but since asking for a ban you've posted more in one day than I have all month. I commend you for taking a big step in asking Nym for a temporary ban, but in the mean time wouldn't it be better to be a little more proactive and limit how often you post/peruse the forum until then?

No.  Are a few death points appropriate?  Maybe.  But it's hardly the worst thing anyone's ever posted here.  I had heard about the site Carl referred to many times, but I wasn't even aware it contained child pornography until others said it did.

Also, as I've never visited the site, I can't say whether the content there is uploaded by the site itself or by ordinary viewers, but a public site that is merely known for containing illegal content is not the same thing as a site that allows or encourages illegal content.  As long as it's all strictly monitored, I don't really see what the problem is.

Another witch hunt by the Prude Brood Bandwagon is all it was.  But this one also attracted a number of witch hunters that claim not to be part of, or like, the Prude Brood.

In the end it was about them not liking Caurl and advocating for his ban at the first thing they could grasp onto.  Truly sad.

For the record, I have already asked an anonymous poster if they would change my password before Nym bans me. They declined, so I have another poster which I will ask to do the same for me. As for limiting my posts, I have said it before: I lack the self control to not post here. I get bored, so I post here. It's not because I want to stroke my ego or have a pity party, I literally cannot restrain myself from posting here. I have taken the steps necessary to have moderator intervention, and am only awaiting a response.

Also, it's funny how even Inks, who has been accused of being captain prude, came to my defense in saying that I did nothing wrong. And he's a lawyer. Dang it feels good to be vindicated.
