They're the two governors with the most buzz.  Who do you prefer?

If polls continued to show that Christie was our only chance at winning, I would likely vote for him. However, based solely on personal preference, Walker.

Fixed for my own preference.

I would support Walker in the general any day though.

Christie, because really only him, Walker, Bush, and maybe Rubio are the only ones electable.

Forget what I said earlier, these two are the only viable Republican candidates in a general election.

I'm still with Christie despite probably aligning with Walker more ideologically (not that there are substantial ideological differences between Christie and Walker). I like Christie's style more and he wins the electability argument.

Christie.

Walker seems to have more negatives, although I don't think he would be that bad a choice either.

One of the fun 2016 stories in 2014 is that Christie, as head of the Republican Governors Association, is tasked with trying to help Walker and Kasich get re-elected. And you can bet he'll pretend to be doing that with great gusto. But come on, if Burke and FitzGerald do a good job responding to a hurricane days before the election, is Christie supposed to not say so?

Wisconsin is far better off economically than New Jersey just look at both of the states unemployment rates. Walker's record is far more conservative and impressive than Christie's who's really known for Hurricane Sandy, Walker stood up to the union's a big plus for any Republican and survived a high profile recall race. Plus, Walker is a Governor of a light blue state that would be much easier for him to carry than NJ for Christie. Walker clearly is a better fit as a nominee he doesn't offend TP and establishment he seems like the only candidate who could unite the two.

Probably Walker, though I still believe (maybe foolishly) that Huntsman could make a run at it. I really doubt Bush will run.

fwiw, Huntsman is essentially saying he suspects Christie knew and is now lying.

I'd guess Bush is more likely to run than not right now. I assume Christie's strength was one of the major deterrents to Bush pre-Bridgegate.  Won't be surprised if he starts courting donors keeping a nervous eye on Christie's scandals.

Walker losing re-election would be good news for Christie, the head of the RGA. Keep an eye out for  subtle ways Christie tries to undercut Walker.

Called it yet again.
