FY on balance, but probably one of the most boring years we've had in a long time since like... 2007? 2014 and beyond will be much more interesting.

Actually not bad for me personally, but in a broader sense pretty crappy.

Very, VERY mixed for me - FY on balance, but fairly HY earlier in the year, I also lost my grandmother in October.

So while an FY, not as much as 2008-2012, but more than 2005-2007, haven't had a HY since 2004.

Probably one of the most important years in my life, and definitely in a good way (although I suffered quite a bit at some points).

2013 was an awesome year for me, if only because I had the best time of my life for a week in Italy and shook hands with Carly Rae Jepsen (and the Dear Leader himself), in addition to a generally successful year at work/school. I doubt 2014 will be better. For the rest of the world, obviously horrible like every year since the beginning of time.

For me personally it was an ok year.  But for the world as a whole, it struck me as a fairly bad year.

Fairly good year for my school career; grades have definitely improved over its course, and I've finally gone ahead and done something with my passion for acting, along with my first AP classes. In terms of news, the year was fairly bland and status quo, and my personal/family life also hasn't really changed at all. FY on balance, but pretty uneventful compared with the past years.

Graduated high school, went to college, joined a fraternity, partied, hung out, worked, etc. Very good year.

Good riddance. Too much drama for me this year. I need to stay out of a lot of things this year and focus on taking the bar in July.

Worst year of my life, bar none. Started bad in November 2012 when the campaign I worked on ended and got progressively worse. 2014 will be a nice year for me, though.

One of the best years of my life.  It started off kind of crappy having to come home from Utah and moving back in with my parents, but then things started looking up.  I went to Kenya again in late June/early July, went back to school in early August and met my girlfriend in September and I read the entire Bible in 2013.  The 4th quarter of 2013 was better than the first three quarters, but overall the year was one of the best years of my life.  I am really looking forward to 2014.  I've got many plans this year from now through Christmas, but I'm praying my plans line up with what God has planned for my life this year.

The best thing that happened to me this year was that I realized an 85% return on my portfolio. Yes, emotionally I am completely dead. RIP Duke.
