I feel sorry for the tragedies that plagued his family during his presidency, but I still vote HP, both as president and as a person.  One of the worst presidents we ever had, and quite possibly the very worst (sorry liberal trolls, it wasn't Dubya or Reagan.)

He was nothing but a drunk who was trying hard to quit but couldn't.  He had too much mental troubles to be President. I have a more negative opinion of his wife than I do him overall, she was a fruit case.

But as a President he was a joke. He bent over and let people dominate him at a time where the country needed an epic man to lead, he was an epic failure. He was so out of it he expected to be re-elected yet doing a terrible job.

The Pierces remind me a ton of the Edwards clan of the 2000's. Thank god John never got elected..
