We can get to a final vote three ways

1. Debate ceases for 24 hours
2. UC is approved
3. Cloture vote.

I assume shua will object to a uc request and won't stop talking for the span of 24 hours. So that leaves cloture, which could take a while.

UC works on a basis of requiring an explicit objection to block it. So it baiscally the inverse of number one in a certain sense since any kind of debate would trigger and force the 24 hour cycle to restart.


Since you seem to have laid out a ocndition in which UC is acceptable, I ask unanimous consent to waive the cloture requirement and proceed immediately to a fina lvote. Senators have 24 hours to object.

In 24 hours I will still be asleep or preferrably just getting up for my Saturday morning activities and thus it will be more like 27 hours before I will be able to start this anyway.

I understand the Senator's concerns, I raised the concern during the original bill that we needed to uncover just who would benefit and who would actually be left less well off compared to the present situation and the numbers for both.
