Indeed - he was a pillar of the forum consciousness for a long time. It's so weird to think that a lot of new posters won't be able to learn about opebo firsthand - only through the Pedo Vaults.

Truth?  There was no "purge".  That is the truth.  Do you know how many people were banned because of their association/interaction with opebo?  ONE... and that was opebo himself.  The "purge" ended as soon as it began; it was an infinitely small point in time when Dave actually clicked the ban button on opebo, and then, just like that, it was over.
