But seriously, if it's a split thing, then it won't harm any Dem legislators. Maybe a couple that already had extremely close races, but we'll pick up a few seats in 2014, God willing.

No. We don't worship Joseph Smith, contrary to all outside expectations. Nor do we worship Brigham Young. It's more of a Muhammad-esque situation, where we greatly respect Joseph Smith, and several later prophets argue that besides Jesus himself, nobody has done more for the salvation of mankind than Joseph Smith.
Also I was being facetious in the original comment; trying to be a left-wing fundamentalist Mormon.
