Sad
Well, we will see. I'm probably too optimistic about this race.

This will probably be closer with that Motherbucker out, though Gardner is going to lose in the end. Likely D I say.

Rothenberg says his quote was taken out of context and that Udall is still the favorite.

AFP took a picture of Udall and Obama at a hospital presser where Aurora victims were being treated and is using it in their ad against Udall. Not a game changing error, but very sleazy and underhanded.

The Q Senate poll has been leaked: 45/44 Udall, 59% Obama and Ocare disapproval.

Well, I will move this race from Lean D to toss up. Even if I still believe Udall will win, (because LOL supporting personhood in Colorado), this will be definitely highly competitive.

I'm a bit suspicious of a poll with Obama/Obamacare dissapdoval at 59%. He's moving towards about 45/52 approval nationwide, so this poll seems a bit much. But this race is still and Udall+3 or so affair. But considerin he fact that Dems underperform in Colorado polling by 2-4 points and the GOP running a personhood-supporter, I still think Udall comes out on top.

Knew something along those lines was coming. Udall is looking mighty worried.

OTOH, an opportunity to judo-flip WOW and go on social offense. Tie it to Udall's NARAL voting record. An ad similar in tone to Cotton's "At Ease."

For the record, all you have to do to get the No Labels endorsement is say you support No Labels. Udall could fill out a form and get the same endorsement.

If Gardner wants to run on being a SoCon in Colorado, where the GOP's biggest problem is being to socially conservative, then he should go right ahead.

I'm repeating what I said 3 days ago:
Precisely. Which is why Gardner has to run soft-focus social ads in Denver ASAP and define himself positively before Udall's WOW ads get to those swingy moderate suburban women.

No Republican's gonna defuse WOW or any other negative attack for that matter by trying to duck it. If they do, well I'm sure President Romney agrees. Counterattack now before pivoting back to other issues.

Only slightly less stupid than your "It seems no one besides hacks care about this Kathleen Kane story" comment.

The SoCon issue especially abortion is amplified because Personhood is on the ballot again and will probably fail by the same margins it has in the past.
