Good write-up from Catanese on the both campaigns' field efforts.

Atlantic on the race.

NYT on the race.

This probably goes down as a candidate for most disgusting/ridiculous ad ever - http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2014/10/29/co_naral_ad_cory_gardner_wants_to_ban_birth_control.html

This really better backfire.

lol yup, that's pretty embarrassing (even if the message is true... which is really the story of the Colorado senate race: Democrats poorly presenting a truthful message, and Republicans presenting their lies very well)

The dude in the ad calls the woman "sweat pea." It's almost like they were trying to help Gardner with this one.

Nothing untrue in this ad. Gardner deserves a good thrashing for his violent misogyny.

Lol that is an awful ad. Just adds a little room to the Great Gardner's margin.

Some Beltway journos compared it to Aqua Buddha or Godless. WaPo's my favourite. "In conclusion, I did not like this ad and I hope that the characters in it do find effective birth control somewhere, because I would prefer they not procreate."

Not really comparable. Those were TV ads made by the candidate's campaign. This is a radio ad made by an outside group.

Of course the media has been incredibly biased against Udall/for Gardner for most of the campaign, so you can't count out the possibility that they'll blow this out of proportion.

Because we all know that one senator can single-handedly outlaw birth control

Mark Udall's new ad hits Cory Gardner on, you guessed it, personhood.

I'm not sure how he doesn't get this. He's run this attack into the ground, got a high powered drill, and then dug deeper. Pathetic.

If they're running it, it's effective. I think I trust Udall's campaign manager over some teenager on a web forum.

I mean, is there really any point in switching strategies one week before election day? It's already too late for that. Might as well double down I guess.

The "final" internal poll the Udall campaign is leaking has the race tied at 46.

So even with other "reputable" polls showing Udall up one, this is the best he can do? Ha.

Worried just now? They weren't worried, say, a month ago?

Turnout at the end is even better for Democrats than 2010. We probably got to R+4 something. Gardner has to be on some VP list by now. Though I imagine he will peak in popularity.
