I know Wyoming had one person, who served 12 consecutive years from 1975-1987: I forgot his name.

I've read that half of the Wyoming Republicans voted for Herschler. Darn shame about the term limits though.

Farewell, if Charlie Crist wins back his job as Florida Governor this year and wins reelection in 2018, he'll be the longest-serving governor by 2022 with 12 years of service

Wonder how they divide the days, hours between both Lamn and Romer, as both each served 12 years in their respective tenures as Colorado Governor

Oldies Freak, Branstad is almost certainly going to cruise to reelection to a historic 6th term (with 64 percent of the vote).

Oldies freak: what odds do you give Cuomo staying in Albany for at least 12 years?

It'll tie with his father, Mario, Pataki and Dewey.

John Rowland (R) Governor of Connecticut from January 4, 1995 – July 1, 2004

Elected to 3 consecutive terms though he resigned due to threat of impeachment halfway through term 3. For some reason I liked him better than Rell.

Cubby, if Rowland hadn't got caught up in those scandals, he likely would have broken O'Neill's record and finished up his 3rd term with 12 years in office.

A big what if Rowland had survived the scandals.

Heck, Rowland could have been governor for life if he wanted to
