Is MLK's memory at this point just a gimmick for people to mention his name vaguely connecting him to something through contorted logic and thereby claim him as an appeal to authority for whatever awful agenda they have?

Do you consider loudly-advertised car sales a good reason to get rid of Presidents' Day?

I never really saw much point in Presidents' Day to begin with, so if there were people going around earnestly claiming that yes, indeed, Lincoln would have driven a Lincoln, then I think we would need to consider it.
