I wish Republicans would learn how birth control works before they start talking about.

For Republicans of course, birth control is the old Big Black Satan Specter.

Yes, Mr. Huckabee, let us take that discussion all over America, and see what happens.

I wonder sometimes if for many southerners the clock stopped at Appomattox and 20th century never happened.

It might be a severe case of appomattoxitis in fact. Tongue

Huckabee is such a strong candidate, really! Isn't he so charming and electable? He would've beaten Obama in 2008, if only that old curmudgeon McCain didn't get in the way!

He's right though. Liberals use these tactics to pit black vs. white, men vs. women, gay vs. straight to try and win elections.

It's rather that Republicans try to pit white straight males against everyone else.

Huckabee's PAC is generating a lot of donations off of this:

Also, PPP started their new national poll last night, and, at least on the first night, Huck was leading the field for the GOP presidential primary matchup:

Stay classy, Republicans. At this rate, Hillary is going to be laughing all the way to the White House.

Its funny you never hear anything about Hillary and Obama agreeing to vote no on the Iraq Surge just to play politics. Even C-Span turned a blind-eye to her "no vote" on "The Surge". What about Hillary's enemies list? She looks as nearly as careless as Christie with her staff complying enemies lists.

Hey but it works why else would the Dems do it if it didn't work?  The "war on women" issue did fall into the Dems lap though because the Republicans went to far on the abortion issue. The Dems just capitalized on the GOP's mistake there though.

No Republican Presidential Candidate would have won in 2008 after the stock market crash happened in my opinion.

Reagan? I don't know about that. Nixon he did that just to win. George Wallace did the same thing to win elections until his last tenure as Alabama Governor in the 1980's. I don't think the pre-1980's George Wallace attitude about race was cool in the 1980's then even in the Deep South of all places.

What Huckabee said was a little sloppy except for the Uncle Sugar part. Who is Uncle Sugar anyway? I just want to know what he meant by saying Uncle Sugar exactly.

I think Uncle Sugar is a euphemism for the welfare state.

I don't know but I wouldn't rule that out in terms of meaning.

Pour some Uncle sugar on me
Ooh, in the name of love
Pour some Uncle sugar on me
C'mon fire me up
Pour your Uncle sugar on me
I can't get enough
I'm hot, sticky, sweet
From my head to my feet, yeah

Huckabee is probably a huge Def Leppard fan

Hillary is far from being a perfect candidate, but if the Republicans as a party continue with their SOP of tone-deaf bigotry, they will be losing the 2016 election.
