Just read an interesting article about Heitkamp do you think she'd be a good VP pick for Clinton?

No woman will be good for Clinton. I don't like saying it, but it's true.

Couldn't disagree more strongly. The only states where it may backfire are states where she would have 0% chance of winning anyways, like in Wyoming and North Dakota. Oh, North Dakota, that's accidentially where she's from lol. Tongue Guess it won't backfire even there then. Wink

People are too inherently cautious to accept an all women ticket. They like "balance".

If she's going to go with a woman, better she pick someone like Claire McCaskill.

Somene should actually make a poll on this crucial issue. Strange thing no pollster has actually done it yet!

That's not happening unless they've seriously mended fences.

No, there's no reason for her to be picked.

Poor pick for Clinton, Warren, Gilibrand or Booker (a ticket with two new Senators probably isn't the best match).

Good pick for O'Malley, or Cuomo.

I don't see any reason why Hillary should not pick a woman, anyone put off by having two women on the ticket probably would not vote for Hillary anyway. That having been said I don't think Heitkamp would be the best choice. To conservative and unknown and does not help much geographically.  Plus in what is likely a closely divided Senate she would likely have a Republican appointed to her seat if she won the vice Presidency.
