This is for fun. Lets ignore the fact that they're both lions. Mufasa is a Republican from...Missouri (mid-west, not quite "the west" but whatever). Aslan is a Democrat from...Colorado.

Make maps. Go. VPs don't matter.

I'd vote for Mufasa... but there's no doubt Aslan wins. After all he was a stand-in for Jesus...

The media would portray Mufasa as an "angry black lion"

Aslan/Aslan, duh. Who's gonna vote for the lion that dies when you have an immortal one on the very next line of the ballot? Plus, he's got great executive experience, having created what some might call his own world. Mufasa also represents antiquated monarchist norms which the public won't take kindly to. He's compared his own constituents to grass as well.

Aslan/Aslan.  But I think Aslan would be the Republican, and Mufasa would be the Democrat.

Mufasa would probably be Republican, the Lion King was pretty conservative . (hyenas represented the poor, Scar a liberal who promises everyone food).

Making Aslan the William Jennings Bryan-esque Democrat.

Thank you. And if Scar is Hitler, is Mufasa Kurt von Schleicher? What were his thoughts on poor people?
