I am totally opposed to this bill and I will vote against it.
Would you be open instead to amending this to allow for the possession and sale of cocaine and place a sin tax on it? I could probably get behind that.

This is a fairly decent idea. What sort of rates could be acceptable on this sin tax?

Why don't we legalize the sale of cocaine, and put a sin tax on it instead? Seems like the best course of action to me.

At 25 cents per gram, the tax will cost more in enforcement than it will bring in revenue, and it won't dissuade anyone from selling or using it.

So what price would you propose an alternative?
