Safe D, most likely. Despite Waxman's 54% in 2012

@TheCityMaven: Women's rights activist @SandraFluke tells me she is "strongly considering" a run for Waxman's congressional seat.

CA-33 almost has the PVI of the state, so this should be no struggle for any democrat (although I have no idea how Waxman got only 54% in 2012).

How is she in any way qualified to replace Henry Waxman. She didn't do anything. She's accomplished nothing worthy of election to Congress.

What are you talking about? She's hardly any less qualified than most people who run for Congress.

If Fluke did make the top two, conservatives would waste a ton of money in the district, just because she offended them so badly.

Well-funded indie.

As for Sandra Fluke, endorsed because conservative/misogynist rage.

Fluke is of course the best candidate for this seat, because she'll make the Republicans say horribly sexist things non-stop for the next 8 months.

Sandra Fluke did more to prevent abortion than any individual person in American history, and she did it without infringing on anyone's rights or personal choices. Massive FF.

QFT. Rush Limbaugh would provide pure gold.

We'll with that thinking, I'm inclined to support her. I guess I'm still a bit sore about the Dems devoting a night of the DNC to the "War on Women" instead of focusing entirely on the economy. It worked, so I guess it'll work again.
