I go FDR.

Lol...if we're facing a Communist threat, it's Reagan every time. If we're facing a Nazi threat, FDR looks better, etc.

Fine.  In the year 2004.  For the 2004 election.

Hard to know what FDR would've thought about the modern world and Islam and terrorism.

This is kind of a fundamental question to see whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, and in fact I think is used on a political test that I remember taking to help determine your ideology.

That being said, clearly FDR! Wink

In a time of stability, I would vote Reagan. In a war time, I would vote for Roosevelt. I have major objections to Roosevelt, but his wartime effectiveness and speeches to Congress were amazing. Otherwise, I'd like a determined and cheery President. I won't vote on this poll just yet.

Easy choice - my favorite twentieth century president against my least favorite.  Reagan for me.

FDR most definitely. Abraham Lincoln aside FDR was the greatest US president ever.

There you peple go again. I won't even get into FDR, but I fail to see how Lincoln, a man who's biggest life achievement was to traple the constitution, is so admired by everybody.

Ronald Reagan!

By the way, does anyone know of any place I could get audio of FDR's speeches? I don't think I've ever heard his voice.
