If Algeria do the impossible, do you realize when they'll face France?

It would be TERRIBLE.

For the match Algeria-Germany, I know from sources that security was doubled in some difficult areas in France.

So, if this is Algeria-France, this will backfire completely.

Shame. It would have been hilarious to see the Teutons fall out this early and have Algeria face France.

If we play like that against France, they're going to tear us to shreds.

Isn't there a conflict of interest to have Brazilian referee take charge of a match which can determine Brazil's potential semifinal opponent?

FIFA doesn't seem to care that much, after all, there was an Argentine referee in the Switzerland - Honduras match which determined our opponent in the following round.

That is, if Brazil even makes it to the semifinals.

It's not like France played all that well against Nigeria...

No, they didn't, but any halfway decent team would have murdered us tonight.

Who knows how the quarterfinal will turn out...but ww need fast and serious improvement.

Every fan whose team has won so far has said this. Nobody is obliterating anybody. Maybe it's the weather, but the parity is high in this cup.

Yeah, nothing like taking a serious, unnecessary risk of having your massively inferior opposition go ahead in the ninth minute.

If he hadn't won the ball there then the Algerian dude would have just dribbled into the box and likely scored against Neuer one on one.

The first half in GER vs. ALG was one of the sh*ttiest football showings from GER I have ever seen.

And I have seen the Austrians play, so that means something ... Tongue

But as expected, the Germans with their stupid luck emerged once again as winners, despite ALG really earning the win.

Manuel Neuer was basically the only good German player on the field through the game, while the others looked like they smoked something really good before the game.

While I will obviously support my team, since this time French aren't ridiculous, if Germany wins the World Cup, I would be happy as well!
