Only five minutes?! Disgraceful.
And the Brazilian goalkeeper should have been sent off for time-wasting and the injury time extended to compensate for this, but I guess Brazil reaching at least the semi-finals is a greater priority for FIFA than fair refereeing...

Julio Cesar not being sent off was insane, yeah. Half the Brazilians should be suspended for the semifinal, but hopefully without Thiago Silva and Neymar Germany will be able to avenge the Colombians.

Then in the finals, Costa Rica will avenge the Brazilians.

An update for those interested:

You can argue the sample size is still too small, but 538's probabilities have been very good so far.

Thiago Silva and Neymar both missing for the semifinal would be pretty bad for Brazil.

Yeah, the referee is a moron. What a shame. Though the match itself was entertaining.

More disgusting play acting from Neymar.

He was acting like he fractured 4 vertebrae when in reality it was fewer.

fivethirtyeight still has Argentina as a more likely champ than Germany even having to play an extra match. I assume they're not factoring in Neymar and Silva not playing in the semis though.

Probably not yet. I think they only recalculate stuff like that once per day.

Keystone Phil, your player almost killed Neymar. He should be arrested for manslaughter attempt. Lifetime ban, please!

Yes, the Colombian who literally broke Neymar's back will get zero punishment, while Suarez isn't allowed to touch a soccer ball until October because he grazed a guy on the shoulder. It's obvious to any thinking person that his punishment is completely unjust and insane.

Napoli represent!

Have to say Zuniga's challenge didn't seem like it was vertebrae-damaging.

Turns out that a huge grasshopper landed on James Rodriguez when he took the penalty shot:
