Why is it that this German team has a habit of destroying the lusophone countries?

The entire German team can now do calf exercises for the next 60 minutes in front of their goal and fill out any paperwork they've forgotten to do.

I was about to post that no team has ever has managed to get a draw from four goals down when Germany scored the fifth.

I'm betting the Brazilians are starting to wish they'd just gotten to be eliminated with some dignity left by Colombia.

Well, 538 screwed this one up. They had a 65-68% chance of a Brazil win even taking into account that they're missing their 2 star players. I think being favored 2-1 implies that you won't be completely and utterly demolished like what just happened to Brazil.

This is at world cups presumably.

It was very sporting of the Germans to let that one go over the crossbar.
