Beautiful result! I'm so happy.

Trolling messi with the golden ball was a nice touch.

Congrats to Germany, clearly the most deserving team, and respect to Argentina as well (especially for slaughtering the orange bastards Smiley).

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Deutschland!!!

And congratulations to Argentina. A truly worthy opponent who put up a huge fight. Either team would have deserved to win this World Cup. I'm thrilled it's us, but you can be proud as well.

A surprisingly good match for a final. Clearly the Rapture is upon us.

Argentina's several missed chances were heartbreaking but Mascherano and the defense were so great I thought they could do it anyway. It took a perfect goal to beat them. A really fun World Cup.

We won't pay, and continue to complain (like the Dutch).

And then we'll meet in court to settle it ... Wink

Would you mind to annex Bavaria? That should also solve this road toll problem.

Germany won the world cup in a 1-0 match against Argentina? Sounds familiar. Cheesy

Long ago, of course, Austria did almost annex Bavaria; the Wittelsbachs strongly considered trading Bavaria for Belgium.

I wouldn't actually mind the road toll if my home state of Salzburg were still a part of Bavaria, like in pre-1820 or so.

But considering the fact that I often drive via Lofer through the "German Corner" to Salzburg and therefore need to use German roads, I have to complain about this coming injustice.

Because wasn't it the Germans who where historically the first who complained about price differences between the locals here and the German tourists, which eventually got struck down by EU courts ? Now we have to pay the same price for our lift passes than German tourists, because of their complaints and court battles. And now they want their own extra-wurst with their road toll ? Not with us ... Smiley
