You've obviously never seen The Crow. It's one of those movies without knowing beforehand you can still pinpoint its release date to only a 2-3 year range despite not including any explicit references to current events or famous people.

Haha! Die Hard With a Vengeance is the same way with me. It just looks 90s.

I actually read all the entries. I'll post the scores for each movie he reviewed from most-least 90's, in addition to if the plot could reasonably happen with today's technology, since that's a score factor (If the answer is no, he gave them 10 points!):

I think all of those movies could have worked in other decades. Goodfellas was even set in the 60's and 70's.

Good pick. So few have seen that movie though...but it does definitely have a feel of being not able to be made in any other decade despite no issues with technology or whatever. I was thinking of it but yeah as noted, just so few have seen it.

LOL. Sneakers O'Toole premiered in 2007.

Is Sneakers O'Toole a video-game?  I thought it was some emo Christian band or something judging by how much you talk about it.

If the criterion is "couldn't be made in any other decade", then the answer would be some movie that uses CGI, but for which the plot could easily be resolved in the first five minutes if the characters had cell phones.
