Better something then nothing.

Miles, a question to you: most party-switchers in the South (including Louisiana) thrived in Republican party after switch (though i know exceptions like Chandler). Not so with (conservative) Grigffith. Why???

The AL GOP has always been known for its hostility towards party-switchers from some reason.

In the case of Griffith, he had already pissed off the coservatives before he switched, he never got much traction.

It was long ago - in 1994. When Democrats (albeit many - very conservative ones) still had a solid majority in Legislature, and so on. Republican bench wasn't nearly that strong in Alabama then as it's now. So, Republicans gladly took him as he is. Now they are much more picky...

I'm telling ya Parker Griffith is like Chad Harris-Crane, who can't make up his mind between being with Whitney or Vincent.

It's the Charlie Crist of Alabama!

Surely we can find somebody other than this opportunistic hack to run. I mean, I know it's Alabama and all, but still.

No, Charlie Crist can actually win the position he is running for and had every reason to be pissed at the Republicans after he got completely f***ed over in 2010.
