Im not saying I believe it, its just that ive been burned by blubb being correct before. Tongue

But possible reason would be he doesn't want to get crushed like blanche did.

Maybe he's not up for a bloodbath (not saying that will happen but he might think it's possible and that's why he'd want to do the opposite of what Blanche did)? Go out undefeated? Believe it or not, that means more to many politicians even if it means screwing over his party's chances. There's this thing called ego... Tongue
