If we we're look at both Presidents' records at the same point in their respective Presidencies, that is, if we examine side by side Clinton's record until February 1998 and Obama's to the present day, who looks better? Who seems to be the more competent President and the better leader?

Obama is less awful, I guess. Both are mass murderers but Obama has mildly better domestic policy.

Neither impressed me. Obama is the lesser evil and, despite purists' whinning, that's still something.

Obama has accomplished more from a legislative perspective and has had to deal with a terrible economy and a more brutal, nihilistic Republican Party.  Seriously, imagine Obama's administration with no Fox News, no Tea Party and huge economic growth.  So, Obama.

Clinton is very overrated, but overall, I'd say he was a better president than Obama.

Ugh god, Obama.

Say what you want about how much of a disappointment Obama is, at least he pretends to be liberal.  As opposed to Clinton, who by 1996 was trying to outracist and out drug war his Republican opponent.

Bill is much more likable and personable people can relate to him while Barack is more distant and aloof.

It's rather telling that we see people here referring to Clinton's personality when justifying their choice for him.

If we we're look at both Presidents' records at the same point in their respective Presidencies, that is, if we examine side by side Clinton's record until February 1998 and Obama's to the present day, who looks better?

Obama by miles. Even if Obama had lost in 2012 he still would have been a much more accomplished President than Clinton.

Who seems to be the more competent President and the better leader?

Obama is obviously more competent and also a much better leader.

Obamacare passed, Hillarycare failed.

Is there any other substantive difference?

Clinton is more likeable.

Pretty much the same story, but Clinton had more luck.

Bill Clinton had a good economical record but I think that Obama's accomplishments are greater. Just imagine this my friends: Obama being elected in 1992 Wink
