I'm not sure if this passes the council and then goes to be ratified or if we the council just pass it.

It will be good to work with Oakvale going forward on spending the money. I certainly have some ideas, but would need to draft the bills.

Yeah, truth be told I did more than my fair share of griping, bellyaching, complaining, and kicking about this just being handed to us, but I was assured that after a great deal of haggling. . . figures were arrived at that Labor agreed were fair. And looking at them, they are reasonable. I just felt grossly circumvented. So if the figures were agreed upon as fair by everyone and they're surely not permanent, I think we can oblige.

I'm actually not a big fan of sales, liquor, and gas taxes because again, I think they hit poor people a lot harder, but overall the numbers all seem within reason.

Thanks for considering these. I hope you all are able to pass them!

For those who did not follow the debate, I arrived at these rates by reading the Midwest and northeast regional rates and adjusted the rates based on the cost of doing business in the pacific.

Overall, the senate and my administration hope these will stimulate growth, business and create job in the pacific. It will cause the short term deficit to explode, sure, but long term, revenues will increase substantially should they work, and people will be far better off. If it's fails, I will shoulder the brunt of the fallout.

Yes.

Now, I need to see if this goes to referendum with 2/3 support. It has passed the Council, in any event.

X DemPGH, Pac. Gov.

---

I'll sign this just in case, and if I find out this needs to go to referendum in the next day or so, I'll send it to referendum. Then, we get a bunch of money to spend. Smiley
