Suppose for whatever reason Bill Clinton ended up trailing far behind at third place in the polls and as a result he decided to suspend his campaign, allowing the DNC to spend money on Congressional and gubernatorial races instead. He refuses to endorse either Perot or Bush but urges voters to vote their conscience.

An easy vote for Bush the Greater.

Sadly, Perot is/was too much of a nut job to be viable, thus GW.

This, but also to have an non-two party president in the White House, even if he's a lame duck from day 1.

Perot, purely because I'd like to see a third-partier in the White House.

I agreed with Perot on far more than Bush, but Perot, I imagine would have made an unstable President.

I'm generally an advocate of free trade so I would have vouched for George Bush (plus I'm quite a fan of his), although a Perot presidency would certainly have been interesting.

A protectionist in the 90s is like a free silver guy in the 20s.

Perot is one of the greatest men who we never elected, despite his gun positions.
