US map I made in Photoshop

I made this map of the US in Photoshop, what do you all think?

Sounds like a good idea, as long as I don't push it too far to the east and have an unnecessary gray gap in western Texas.

In that event I would just manually fill it in with the same shade of blue.

This is a cool concept and overall I think you've done it well.

Sadly, most state flags are awful (random blue/yellow banner with ugly coat of arms plastered on it). Great job though.

As you can see, I tried to focus on the coats of arms/distinctive features of the flags in general.

Yeah Southern states really like red for some reason.

Can't imagine why ex-Confederate states would possibly choose to use something other than a seal on a background of Army blue.
