Sometimes.....then again sometimes I just don't give a sh[inks] if the guy going the other way gets nailed.

I'm glad courts are viewing it as legal though.

No.  When I flash my lights it's because there's something ahead they need to slow down for because of safety reasons, not financial ones.  Besides, I keep my eyes on the road, not on cop cars that are parked off the road.

Of course, and I expect reciprocity.  I admit though, occasionally I just don't care.

I only flash my lights to let other drivers go at a stop sign (suburban)

If you're speeding (>6 mph over), you deserved to get busted. It's a crime and you put others at risk, especially pedestrians. As a biking enthusiast(and someone who has been hit by a car whilst biking), I don't play that.
Man... what is happening to people?

I'm not that old... but I'm pretty sure a big part of my driver's ed classes were students asking the instructor what they could get away with.

No?  This is a thing people do?

I only flash my lights to warn people that they forgot to put their own lights on.  This town is so lit up that you can drive around without them on, but it's still dangerous obv.

No - I almost never flash my headlights. There are so many different reasons why it could be done that I don't want to risk a misinterpretation. The only time I ever do is when someone else has their brights on and are extremely close to me, primarily because my vision is not the best and it severely impairs it.

No, because I am fond of taxes on stupid, dangerous behavior. I don't speed because it's pointless (because math, especially over relatively short distances or in heavy traffic), dangerous (because accidents), stupid (because accidents and math), and all around douchey. I let speeders pass me. They're usually aggressive drivers or just maybe have some sort of emergency, so there's no reason to hinder them. There's also no reason to help them.

The worst are people speeding while doing a more serious crime. For instance, why would you speed while transporting controlled substances? I don't want to associate with anyone that dumb.. I want them as far away from me as possible (although I do laugh whenever someone who flies by me ends up stuck at the red light up ahead. Very efficient smart drive vroom vroom teh ladies)

No, and most people in Michigan don't either.  Usually I've only seen it done (or done it) when someone is driving and forgets to turn their brights off as another car approaches.

Yes, it's standard practice here and I appreciate when others return the favor.

Wish it were here.

To answer the question, I've never seen someone flash their lights to warn of a speed trap. The only time I flash my lights is either to get a driver going to the opposite way to turn their brights off or their beams on.

Only time I generally flash my headlights is if someone didn't put their lights on, or from time to time to give someone a signal to go.

No, the only time I flash is for go ahead at a stop sign, if it's too dark for a hand motion, or their high beams are on.  I expect the same courtesy.  My night vision is pretty good, but I still don't like it and think it's discourteous when they refuse to turn their beams off for an oncoming vehicle within 500 feet.  I had never heard of flashing for a speed trap.  That doesn't happen in Oklahoma.  I might also flash for hidden dangers in the road, but that's very rare.
