No, even a fledgling democracy that's working through the initial aches and pains is better than a quasi-monarchy established by an insane, murderous tyrant.

Definitely yes. And Iraq would be better off if Hussein were still in power and we never touched that country.

Also, had Gaddafi made his African gold dinar a reality, that entire continent would be better off.

Yes, because rule under murderous, paranoid tyrants is always better than unstable democracies (though I will agree that we shouldn't have touched Iraq). /sarcasm
