Well, yeah.  Keep in mind that Nirvana and Pearl Jam are firmly ensconced in the rotation on "classic rock" radio; I haven't heard Green Day come up that often but it happens from time to time (most commonly with "Good Riddance").

Yeah... no.  They don't play Pavement (who, by the way, is one of the most overrated bands ever IMO) on mainstream radio.

Well they did in 1994. They even played on Leno that year. But I guess then the mainstream completely forgot about them, even their one hit.
