Referendum A:

Do you approve of the proposed law that would enable the Commonwealth Government to assume pre-existing debts?

This law would enable the Commonwealth Government to assume state debts at any time.

Referendum B:

Do you approve of the proposed law that would extend the Surplus Revenue Act of 1908, due to expire this year?

The Surplus Revenue Act was passed in 1908, largely for defense force funding.

If you like any more information, feel free to ask.

Me: NO and NO.

No and Yes. States handle their own debts, and the military needs to be properly funded.
