For those who don't know, the last round of PolUK was the victim of a malicious attack which wiped the forum of all IC posts. As a result, we have restarted, and have chosen to return to an old PolUK favourite - the early 1980s!

The exact start date has been set at 25th January 1981, so the day of the Limehouse declaration when the "gang of four" announced their split from the Labour Party. We're looking for players to try to turn around Maggie's fortunes in the Tories, to try and fight off the left flank in Labour, to size up the new kid in the block in the Liberals - and even to be a part of the gang of four itself.

If you're interested, then come find us at http://www.politicsuk.net/waterloo - as with all 1980s rounds, it promises to be both interesting and adversarial.
