This survey, from GOP polling firm Wenzel Strategies, finds Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell leading Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes by just 1 point, 43 percent to 42 percent—well within the margin of error. (Wenzel Strategies, which polls for Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, isn’t affiliated with McConnell or the Senate campaign.) Still, McConnell leads his primary challenger, businessman Matt Bevin, 59 percent to 17 percent.

Not very good news for McConnell that the firm that showed Todd Akin winning can't even give him more than a 1 point lead.

The Survey poll clearly showed Grimes in lead. Internal poll showing him +1, isn't anything but troublesome.

This poll also said Grimes would beat Bevin by 3.

This poll also said Grimes would beat Bevin by 3.

Bevin's unlikely to win the primary.

If Wenzel has him only leading by 1...

It means there's a very real chance McConnell could lose to Grimes by double digits.

I feel he'll survive by a couple of points at the end of the day.

The last non-partisan poll only showed Grimes up by four, she won't beat McConnell by double-digits
