School Tax Credit Act of 2014
1. Upon passage of this bill all books, and necessary school supplies are completely tax deductible.
2. Students may also deduct anywhere from 5-15% of their total tuition.
3. This bill goes into effect immediately after passage.

Devin and DemPGH, would you like me to move up your bills up in the slot?

Guys, let's think about this:

We need to come up with a dollar figure for two items: 1) the mudslide catastrophe and 2) the drought crisis. We'll request a dollar figure from the federal government for support. Anything else we can ask for as well, like personnel, etc.

Excellent news Governor.  I encourage all regional officials to stay in contact with Duke and myself on these matters.

We should spend the stimulus money on (only) those two things.

Should we make one universal bill on the usage of the stimulus money? How much is it even in total?

I support your ideas, and I think we should definitely go on with investing in environmental causes.

Okay, I encourage everyone to monitor or participate in this thread.

Also, a couple question have been asked about infrastructure - absolutely. I only oppose, in the little time I have left, outrageous stuff like aliens and so on.

Guys, feel free to PM if you want, but we need to allocate expenditures for the stimulus money.

We have:

1. Drought emergency
2. Mudslide emergency
3. A rural housing bill that I'm not sold on
4. We need to invest in business
5. We can continue to invest in green causes
6. We can invest reasonably in education

Other ideas?

Well, I think I'll congratulate Flo and Simfan for winning their seats. I'm looking forward to working with you.

Will you open the 10th Council Thread, DemPGH, or should the speaker when elected do it?

Yeah, in the coming days I'll start a 10th thread and you guys can talk amongst yourselves about who wants to be speaker. We can do that in this thread - the council just votes on that, and you guys swear in Friday.
