Measured it today and it was 129/74 with a 62 pulse.

When I was in high school I had to take pills for high blood pressure, because it was constantly in the 140-160 range.

Also, my dad's side has a history of blood pressure/heart related problems - so it's likely genetic.

In recent years I lowered it considerably because of sports: walking in the woods, skiing, running and cycling in summer.

Now it's between 125-135 (Systolic) and around 75-80 (Diastolic) and I don't need to take the beta-blockers anymore.

What about you ?

Does anyone else get the feeling that Tender is compiling massive files on everyone that answers these weird personal questions and storing everything in some dark lair underneath an Austrian mountain?

Normal (about 125/75), provided and only provided I take my lisinopril pill every day. Otherwise, that 125 can bounce up to about 150-155.  That is one pill that I make sure I take every day. I don't want a stroke, like the one that just killed my next door neighbor (his wife found him near dead on the floor when she woke up in the morning, and he died a few hours later). Scary stuff.

I check mine every time I go to the store, as we have a machine there. My last reading was 121/83 with a 54 pulse rate.

I have an athlete's heart (low pulse rate) from my nightly cardio work.  

Last fall it was a bit high, averaging about 135/85, but its come down since then; I've been eating healthier, so I guess that had some effect.

At the last measurement it was healthy, but lower than average at 118/68. It's probably higher right now after the meal I just had, but that's basically where I'm at.
