QS took the lead in Sainte-Marie-Saint-Jacques.

91 votes between QS and PLQ, in (I really can't stress enough how close that riding is) third place.

76% in my own NDG. This is the PQ's worst PV since '70. Nice to see Deux-Montagnes back in conservative hands.

I propose calling this election Gritnami II: Electric Boogaloo.

No Gritnami since '89. I'd be pleasantly surprised to see anything remotely like that in the foreseeable future.

No one's conceded. I guess Marois wants to know whether she keeps her seat first...

SMSJ is still ridiculously close, as is Borduas.

Pauline Marois now in 2nd.
For awhile she had 200  lead (145 polls) than to went down 23 votes  (159 polls) then back up to 182 votes (162 polls) , now she is trailing with 200+ votes (175 polls)

Looks like Marois goes down with 3 polls left, outside the recount margin. Better that constituents put her out of her misery. 35 year career over, having accomplished her goal of being our first female premier.

Still, I agree with pundits and Françoise David than it's a quite sad end for Pauline Marois.

69 votes lead for QS in Sainte-Marie-Saint-Jacques, with 2 boxes.

Not sure why CBC has declared she lost. Trailing by 800 votes with 2 polls, she needs to win each poll by 400 votes. There aren't 400 voters in a poll.

Is there a reason why it seems there are exactly two polling stations left to report in every riding?

It's now 600 with 3 polls (probably than there was tabulation errors).

Vote at the election office and off-riding vote?

My personal reaction: I'm relieved and somewhat happy. My opinion of the PLQ has not changed.

Marois conceding now.

All ridings have been called except Sainte-Marie-Saint-Jacques, where QS candidate Manon Masse is hanging on to a slim lead, currently 69 votes, against PLQ candidate Anna Klisko, with PQ incumbent Daniel Breton back in third place.

Aside from this, the Liberals have 70 seats (majority government), the PQ has 30 (and Marois is gone), the CAQ 22 (modest gains), and the QS 2 seats.

Can the Quebeckers on this thread enlighten me as to who the candidates for next leader of the PQ are, or is that not going to be clear now for some time?

The famous 2 boxes left in most ridings are the postal vote for people living in foreign countries, TVA said.

But, they begin to be published. The 2 final boxes in Gouin were just published.
